Oversees and champions continuous improvement with existing clinician and caregiver learning requirements to ensure compliance with state and federal law. Develops, implements, and administers employee development programs, including succession planning, to ensure a continuous pipeline of talent emerges within the organization and is prepared to effectively fill critical roles. Works cross functionally to understand performance deficiencies and build sustainable, lasting, and measurable solutions that help drive organizational success. Participate and contribute to HR leadership team initiatives and provide support and counsel to senior leaders on human resources matters.QUALIFICATIONS:--- Bachelor's degree in education, business administration, human resources management or a related field; master's degree in related desirable--- Current PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or organizational development certificate(s) preferred.--- 7+ years' experience designing, delivering, and improving employee development programs.--- 5+ years' experience building and administering succession planning and talent development programs.--- 5+ years' experience in complex project management overseeing multiple large multi-state projects simultaneously over several consecutive years.--- Experience developing metrics and measuring and reporting on the effectiveness of development programs; experience making programmatic changes based on the data.--- Experience in clinical and care giver educational compliance desirable.--- Ability to travel to Touchmark locations as necessary to fulfill the requirements of the position.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:--- Model the Touchmark Values in decision-making and in interactions with team members, applicants, residents, and guests--- Serve as an executive-level champion of Touchmark's culture and desire to retain and grow talent.--- Create and maintain a qualified pipeline of high potential candidates for key leadership positions.--- Collaborate with operations management leadership to conduct periodic needs assessment for opportunities to improve performance and employee retention through training and development of all employees, with particular focus on skill development of front-line managers.--- Partnering with executive leadership to develop a company-wide leadership development strategy and create and execute the project to address those opportunities.--- Create and coordinate training programs and curriculum including in-person, remote, and on-line training programs.--- Develop a structure to deliver training in the most effective and efficient manner.--- Partner with IT to lead all aspects of the strategic direction of technology solutions to support Touchmark's development and learning objectives to include LMS, Stay-In Touch Tool, related elements of Touchmark's enterprise HR systems. Upon system selection, design, and implementation, serve as the content leader and cultural champion for all related systems.--- Manage and improve the Learning Management System, ensuring that it meets organizational needs.--- Understand industry best in class talent development trends appropriate for our organization and industry and build effective, creative, industry-leading, groundbreaking programs.--- Collaborate with operations management leadership to develop and document a training path for key positions and communicate this information as needed.--- Participate in and contribute to the new employee orientation and onboarding program to ensure that new employees have a positive onboarding experience.--- Oversee the development plan of those who are hired into the Management Development Program and those who are selected for the Executive Development program by tracking their progress and supporting and training department managers who supervise them on the goals of the program and how to maximize its effectiveness.--- Track and report on the effectiveness of all learning and development initiatives. Provide monthly metrics to executive leadership.--- Oversee the development of those hired as college interns and the transition of those who excel into the Management Development Program.--- Source and recommend external training specialists where needed to fill gaps. Work with VP of HR to negotiate appropriate contracts.--- Create engaging communications about training program information to highlight benefits and encourage participation.--- Assist in the preparation and execution of Touchmark University.--- Develop a deep understanding of Touchmark operations and culture to effectively create training programs that support the company and promote the culture.Benefits:Touchmark is dedicated to providing the best for our residents, and it all begins with providing the best for our employees.
