WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
These are exciting times in Supply Chain Management as we expand to support Nike's growth and our steadfast pursuit to serve our consumers. We need leaders with vision who can understand, simplify and evolve one of the largest supply chains in the world. We're hiring a Director North America Supply Chain Capabilities with a focus on Inventory Deployment. This role sits at the heart of our North America Supply Chain team within NA Marketplace Operations Capability team, working to drive innovation as we evolve our supply chain to service the marketplace. Our overall team's scope of responsibility connects inventory deployment through order management to service our wholesale, digital & retail consumers. This position will also be focused on working to advance our capabilities around inventory deployment to maximize service and minimize costs. Our physical supply chain continues to evolve and so too must our processes, systems and decision support tools. This role leads the team creating the future of these capabilities. We're looking for someone who thrives on inspiring change and innovation, understands how process & technology can be used to build better outcomes, and can work across multiple teams to drive alignment for the collective win.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
You will lead a team that leads & partners across Nike's North America & Global Supply Chain teams to develop the capabilities required to deliver unparalleled service to the marketplace. You will envision the needed capabilities of tomorrow necessary to meet our supply chain strategies and our operational requirements, develop the project & business cases and lead through execution. You will bring your expertise to lead and partner across the supply chain. Your focus will be to continuously evolve our solutions increasing service, positive experiences, and speed to the marketplace. Your team's specific responsibility is to lead with a point of view & advocate of the functional teams running the business. Understanding how the supply chain runs and being the business lead in solutioning. Owning the logical & process design as well as functional requirements. Partners in Information & Analytics as well as Nike Technology will build the technical solutions with guidance & support from this team.

This role will work closely with our North America supply chain planning, logistics, transportations, project management, & Marketplace Operations teams. You will also work closely with global teams such as manufacturing, inventory planning, marketplace operations, center of excellence and analytics. Across these teams we will drive an integrated plan to bring innovation to what we do, how we do it and the value it delivers to Nike and our consumers. WHAT YOU BRING

  • Bachelor's degree (Operations, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business preferred) or equivalent combination of education and experience and training
  • Must have minimum of 7 years of supply chain experience
  • Have experience maximising technology and improving processes to drive better outcomes
  • Have experience developing the logical frameworks and analytical tools to enhance supply chain decisions
  • Proven thought leadership in driving innovative solutions
  • Demonstrated process and capability solution delivery
  • Able to work with agility and adjust to constantly evolving environment
  • Able to create clarity from ambiguity
  • Obsesses continuous improvement
  • Robust understanding across the supply chain having had roles in at least 2-3 domain areas
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated team leadership and people development
  • Demonstrated consistent delivery of results
  • Able to build positive relationships and influence partners
  • Knowledge of order fulfillment practices
  • Experience working in a large multi-channel environment, preferred
