**Description****Providence is calling a Program Manger - Coding Education. This role is remote based out of the Beaverton, Oregon office is. Onsite work and the ability to meet with Provider Groups in the area is required. Candidates outside of Oregon and the SW Washington area will not be considered.**The Program Manager - Coding Education performs highly complex and detailed coding education and will serve as a liaison between contracted providers and the Providence Risk Adjustment team. The Program Manager Coding Educator is responsible for implementing multiple coding-related initiatives such as HCC education, value-based contract performance support, CPT and ICD-10 training, incentive development, and overall program strategy. This position will conduct physician outreach, training, and education while using data and analytics to determine areas of focus. The Coding Educator will also work with coders to provide education and feedback based on coding trends from prospective and retrospective projects. Duties include working in a matrixed organization and identifying collaborative strategies that meet the needs of the providers and the Health Plan. The position ensures accurate HCC Coding and clinical documentation for Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, and the ACA lines of business. This position will be a critical member of the Risk Adjustment Leadership Team contributing to provider incentive development and execution, coding accuracy programs, and overall strategy development.**Required qualifications:**+ Bachelor's Degree **-OR** - 7 years of relevant equivalent work experience.+ 5 years of working:+ In or with a managed care organization or clinical setting in a managed environment, OR+ In a pharmaceutical sales role, OR+ In a management consultant role with demonstrated ability to develop business strategy by working directly with management.+ 3 years experience in healthcare industry.+ Experience in either: quality improvement, risk adjustment, or pharmacy.+ Experienced in proactively applying analytical, problem solving, and technical abilities to daily responsibilities.**Preferred qualifications:**+ Certified Professional Coder Certification (CPC)+ Certified Risk Adjustment Coder (CRC)+ Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) or+ Registered Health information Administrator (RHIA)Our best-in-class benefits are uniquely designed to support you and your family in staying well, growing professionally and achieving financial security.
