Who are we looking for We are looking for a Director to lead the Procurement Program Management Office. The candidate needs to be someone who can supervise multiple projects, ensure alignment across business functions and geographies, manage partners, and ensure the work is completed on schedule managing across many dependencies. Strong organization, communication and portfolio management experience is critical and an ability to be flexible, deal with ambiguity, and work with many different personalities will ensure success. The right candidate will have experience and desire to lead a team with a servant mentality - focusing on growth and development and ensuring roles and responsibilities are clear and morale is high. What will you work on You will provide supervision of multiple projects to achieve a corporate vision. You will be head of a Program Management Office, lead a team of Procurement and Project professionals, and perform liaison activities with upper management and partners. You will lead projects and provide oversight and leadership for projects led by other teams. You will conduct regular project reviews for accountability and successful management of project, partners and suppliers. The strategies you help to develop and deploy will touch every aspect of client-supplier interaction and will include approaches to improve supporting processes, procedures, technologies, and organizational elements at both a local and global level. Who will you work with You will report into the Capabilities organization in Procurement that leads the Capability build and transactional operation of the function. You will work across the Procurement function connecting between Intake, Sourcing and Purchase to Pay and in partnership with Legal, Finance and Technology. This opportunity will also give you the chance to interact, present, and influence senior leadership to gain support for key initiatives and strategies. In addition, you will work with counterparts around the globe to implement these strategies at a local level. You will be an agent of change and a vital contributor in Nike's quest to realize its full potential and to assist athletes* everywhere with realizing their full potential. What you bring

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent and a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience
  • MBA or relevant consulting experience strongly preferred
  • PMP or PgMP certification strongly preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of Program or Project Management experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead critical initiatives in a complex, global operating environment.
  • Excellent communications and cross-cultural influencing skills
  • General financial skills and knowledge, including understanding of Total Cost of Ownership and budgeting
  • Ability to adapt quickly and make an impact in a rapid paced Procurement Organization
  • Proficiency with Microsoft applications: including advanced level Word and Excel; intermediate level PowerPoint and Project.
  • Experience from working in ambiguity, and capability to contributing expertise in ambiguous situations
