WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We're looking for a collaborative leader to coordinate the
cross-functional alignment of our internal operations globally in
service of WD+C's strategies and business goals. You'll be leading
operational planning, defining success metrics that support and
shape Nike strategies, developing globally-consistent/locally
relevant reporting requirements and driving process excellence in
partnership with the WD+C geographies.

- Think strategically, developing strategic relationships and lead
with an enterprise approach - Drive clarity, looking for
opportunities in the unknown and helping the workgroup to adapt and
remain productive even when things are not certain - Plan & align,
demonstrating the ability to plan, prioritize and operationalize
sophisticated programs to meet commitments that aligned with
organizational goals in a dynamic, highly-matrixed, fast-paced
environment. - Foster effective teamwork, modeling teamwork by
working effectively with other leaders and partners through WD+C
and partner organizations. - Communicate vision and purpose,
ensuring that others understand how their efforts and contributions
make a positive difference.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
If this is you, you'll be based in Portland, Oregon on a globally
dispersed team partnering with teams in Shanghai and Amsterdam.
Primary tasks include:-- - Leading the evolution and execution of
WD+C's metrics offense, identifying and aligning measurable goals
with long-term strategies and industry standard methodologies -
Operating as Chief of Staff for Global Operations, driving
leadership meetings, offsites and planning cycles in alignment with
WD+C and Global Operations strategic priorities - Partnering with
the WD+C Georgraphies to develop and implement reporting for the
global real estate portfolio, ensuring solutions are globally
consistent and locally relevant. - Partnering with WD+C Finance to
craft and run WD+C processes for globally-aligned execution of Nike
& GOT planning cycles and prioritization - Developing a
collaborative community forum with Geo Business Operations leads,
finding opportunities to partner on global initiatives and
implementing standard methodologies - Leading the effort to
identify, prioritize and drive opportunities for process excellence
and continuous improvement across WD+C globally, while considering
the need for regional differences in processes, tools or market
needs - Developing and driving WD+C internal communications and
share-outs across the organization to help ensure internal
alignment. Partner engagements with the WD+C geographies, key Nike
internal partners (e.g. Nike Security, Global Procurement and
others) and external partners are essential to advancing the WD+C
and Global Operations strategic priorities. Given the number and
complexity of partners for this dynamic business, a significant
portion of your week will be spent driving alignment with others in
order to advance the strategies and plans, paving the way for
streamlined operations and continuous improvement.--
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
This role reports to the Sr. Director, WD+C Global Operations and
is a member of WD+C's Global Operations Leadership Team. You will
work closely with your counterparts in the WD+C Geographies, the
Global Operations Leadership team, other members of the WD+C Senior
Leadership Team, as well as a variety of other Nike partners. This
role does not directly manage any staff.--
WHAT YOU BRING
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field or two years of additional
experience in lieu of degree. Master's degree preferred. - 8-9
years directly professional experience in areas such as Business
Development, Business Planning, Management Consulting, Finance or
related field - A proven track record of collaborating and
influencing in a highly-matrixed organization across a variety of
internal and external partners - Critical thinking and the ability
to prioritize and operationalize shifts in strategy, laddering down
to operational details - Operational- and process-excellence
experience with an approach of continuous improvement to identify
and implement new insights - Proven financial and budget management
skills - Highly developed communication skills - in verbal, written
