The Communications function establishes and strengthens authentic connections with audiences around the globe through the lens of innovation, sport and brand purpose. We are seeking an experienced Communications Manager who can help manage and execute our Global Operations communications strategy.

The focus of the Global Operations Communications Manager role is to elevate the Global Operations narrative, engage and inspire Global Operations employees and amplify leadership messages.

The Global Operations Communications Manager role will require internal communications, content creation, and ownership for employee engagement experiences for Global Operations and supporting functions, with the ability to influence and build relationships across the business. Above all, this candidate will need a passion for sports and the Swoosh.

Responsibilities:
Define and develop integrated communication strategies, messaging and tactics to amplify the Global Operations and supporting functions narrative internally and externally and engage, inspire and inform employeesDevelop creative solutions that take our internal storytelling into new places, experiences and inspire Global Operations and Nike, Inc. employeesCreate executive messaging and provide tactical leadership communication support, managing internal and external approval processesProvide end-to-end all-employee meetings and support including event logistics and planning, content creation, presentation design, speaker training, scripting and pre- and post-event communications Plan and execute employee appreciation events, functional award shows and Brand eventsWork with Sports Marketing and Entertainment Marketing for Athlete and entertainment engagements Manage and execute content creation across print, video and digital platformsWrite and edit content for campaigns, global initiatives, presentations, websites and videos Coordinate all communications timelines and deliverables Measure communications effectiveness through qualitative and quantitative methods Handle communications budgets and resource needs Build credible relationships with team members and business stakeholdersCreate content and programs to connect and engage with remote workforceCollaborate with Global Employee Communications and key internal partners and stakeholders

WHAT YOU BRING TO NIKE:
Bachelor's degree in journalism, PR, English, communications, marketing, business, or related field required5+ years professional experience in marketing, corporate or brand communications roles supporting globally branded organizations2 additional years of experience in lieu of a degreeManagement skills including high-profile communications, strategic planning, budgeting and creative solutionsDemonstrated ability to communicate plans across a complex matrix on a corporate, regional and functional basisExperience initiating and driving the ideation process contributing meaningful, innovative strategies to the businessSuccessful experience in working effectively with senior leaders and a demonstrated ability to provide guidance and direction to peersExperience leading employee eventsDeep understanding of internal communications trends, channels and digital landscape with a digital-first mindset Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience using Adobe Creative Suite, email management tools and content management systems Exceptional written and verbal communications skillsProject Management experience in developing and executing project workbacks, timelines and budgets Travel 5-10%
