Job Description Job Description Madden Industrial Craftsmen is seeking a Licensed HVAC Service Technician (O6A/O6B) for our client in Vancouver, WA. This position supports operations within the commercial, industrial, and residential HVAC service industry. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with the following: HVAC diagnostics, commercial refrigeration systems, electrical troubleshooting, EPA-certified refrigerant handling, and advanced service repair. Pay & Schedule Pay: $30?$45/hour DOE Shift: Tuesday?Friday, four 10-hour shifts; no on-call work Key Responsibilities ? Diagnose, service, and repair commercial and industrial HVAC and refrigeration systems ? Perform advanced system diagnostics using schematics, wiring diagrams, and service manuals ? Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant-related issues ? Repair HVAC units, compressors, condensers, evaporators, and related components ? Complete preventative maintenance and service calls efficiently and accurately ? Document diagnostics, repairs, materials used, and service recommendations ? Communicate effectively with customers, dispatch, and internal teams ? Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and applicable mechanical and electrical codes Required Qualifications ? Active O6A and/or O6B HVAC license (required) ? EPA refrigerant certification ? Minimum 3 years of experience as an HVAC Service Technician ? Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills in commercial HVAC systems ? Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation ? Valid driver?s license with a clean driving record ? Reliable transportation and consistent attendance Preferred Qualifications ? Experience servicing commercial refrigeration systems ? Experience with controls, VFDs, or building automation systems (BAS) ? Experience training or mentoring junior technicians ? Work may include rooftop access, ladders, lifts, confined mechanical rooms, and exposure to varying weather conditions.
