Optimization Field Service Technician to join our team of talented

leadership. Come and grow with us! The Optimization Field Service
Technician is responsible for installing, servicing, and upgrading
optimization scanning systems used in the wood processing industry.
This role provides technical field service, troubleshooting, and
customer support while ensuring that systems perform at peak
efficiency. The position requires extensive travel and the ability
to work irregular hours, including 24/7 rotational support
coverage. This positions range of pay will be $25.00 to $32.00 per
hour. How You Will Make a Positive Impact: Install, service, and
upgrade optimization scanning systems for sawmills, planermills,
plywood, and OSB equipment. Perform troubleshooting and maintenance
on electronic and software-based systems to ensure optimal
performance. Work directly with customers, engineers, and project
managers to understand and resolve equipment or system concerns.
Conduct regular site visits to maintain and enhance system
performance. Ensure all equipment meets quality and safety
standards. Provide remote support and guidance as needed. Maintain
detailed service documentation and reports. Work irregular hours
and overtime as required. The Value You Bring: Diploma, degree, or
trade qualification in electronics, software, or a related field;
or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience
troubleshooting electronic systems; familiarity with industrial
equipment in wood processing is a plus. Knowledge of Windows OS,
TCP/IP networking, and hardware/software applications. Machine
vision, AI, x-ray, or PLC knowledge preferred. Excellent
problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to work
independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Strong customer service and communication skills. Willingness and
ability to travel extensively throughout North America and
internationally. Must be able to cross international borders
