Job Description:
A top engineering firm in the area is looking to add a
Geotechnical Engineer to their team. This stable and growing firm
offers clients valuable knowledge and expertise in the AEC
industries. Due to the recent growth of the firm, there is an
opportunity for a Geotechnical Engineer to join a team of highly
motivated staff. Geotechnical Engineer Responsibilities: Prepare
data, charts, plots, maps, records, and documents relevant to a
given property’s soil profile Data reduction and organization to
provide recommendations for foundation design On-site observation
of excavation techniques and soil sampling Co-design multiple
geotechnical engineering projects, concurrently Co-coordinate and
execute various projects with geotechnical staff Work alongside
project management teams to successfully monitor progress and
implementation of initiatives Geotechnical Engineer Qualifications:
3-5 years of experience in geotechnical engineering PE or EIT
certification Project experience with bridges, roadways, retaining
walls, slopes, and embankments, buildings and various methods of
ground improvements Software Skills : Microsoft Suite, gINT,
geotechnical analysis software experience is a plus. Must be
willing to travel to work sites Geotechnical Engineer Compensation:
$75,000 - 100,000 Excellent benefits package, 401k with an above
