range of solutions including lasers for precision industrial and
scientific research applications, laser and LED measurement, beam
profiling, precision motion control, optical tables and vibration
isolation systems, photonics instruments, temperature sensing,
opto-mechanical components, optical elements, and systems for
flexible PCB laser processing, high-speed MLCC testing, and
CO2-laser-based systems HDI PCB and IC substrate manufacturing. MKS
Photonics Solutions enhance our customers' capabilities and
productivity in the semiconductor, advanced electronics and
specialty industrial markets.MKS is looking for an
exceptionalEngineering Technician who can work cross functionally
with design engineering, manufacturing engineering and operations
team. Primary focus is to build, document, provide design input and
train operations personnel on New Product Introduction (NPI)
builds. This supports the latest cutting-edge technology release to
the Marketplace. You will have the chance to work hand in hand with
design engineers as systems are being designed and built to provide
feedback that ensures systems are manufacturable, serviceable,
reliable and of the highest quality.What you will do is
provide:
- Capital Equipment Assembly, Calibration and Test
- System Documentation
- Personnel Training
- Bill of Material (BOM) structure and analysis
- Input in design for manufacturability, serviceability and
costYou will bring with you, along with your curiosity:
- Technical Associates Degree, military experience, or relevant
work experience
- 6+ years of Capital equipment build and documentation
(preferred)
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office Suites (Excel, Word,
PPT)
- Auto-CAD experience (preferred)
- Class 4 Laser and applied optics integration experience
(preferred)
- Ability to crouch, stand, bend and work on systems for extended
periods of time. Must have high manual dexterity and occasionally
lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. While performing the duties of
this job, you will occasionally be exposed to moving mechanical
parts, Class 4 lasers and vibration.We are interested in a
