Our technicians perform both routine and sophisticated work regarding the repair and calibration of test, as well as the measurement of diagnostic equipment. These repairs are performed to instruments returned to the factory for service, to both the modular and component level as needed.

We will invest in your professional growth by providing education and training opportunities, such as a Certified Calibration Technician certification, to keep current in this driven field. Responsibilities Include:


  • Analyzes, troubleshoots, makes repairs, resolves technical problems, and performs maintenance service on equipment or components returned from customers


  • Identifies and reports unusual product issues and conveys data trends on product repairs to the appropriate person or department to assure quality and customer happiness


  • Interacts with customers for products requiring repair or limited calibration


  • Completes calibration data sheets and documentation supporting customer requirements, reporting, ISO and other quality systems accurately and efficiently


  • Adheres to quality management system policies and procedures


  • Participates in daily scheduling, visual management, continuous improvement, and basic problem-solving work other support functions as they needed

    Required Skills:


    • Associates Degree in Electronics Technology


    • Two years of related experience repairing electronics equipment


    • Able to troubleshoot to the component level on printed circuit assemblies


    • Proficient customer service skills


    • Able to multi-task with shifting priorities


    • Good written and verbal communication capabilities


    • Proficient with Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office (including Excel), and Internet applications


    • Capable of lifting 50 pounds unassisted

      Preferred Skills:

      • BSEE or equivalent


      • Familiarity with test, measurement, and diagnostic equipment


      • Soldering proficiency


      • Ability to work either day shift or swing shift


      • Military Metrology/Calibration (PMEL or TMDE) training


      • Familiarity with calibrations standards, such as Z540 or 17025


      • Ability to work daily and weekend overtime as necessary

        Due to US Department of Commerce export control regulations governing technical data of our products, we need to know the citizenship of all employees. Note that US Citizenship is not required for most positions. Hired candidates will be asked to bring proof of citizenship (passport, birth certificate, green card, visa or similar) on their first day of work. All employment offers are contingent upon successful completion of our pre-employment drug screening,---background/criminal check, and if applicable a motor vehicle record search and/or financial record check.


        All jobs require access to Export Administration Regulations AT1 level technology and therefore a license may be required for citizens of Cuba, North Korea, Iran, or Syria.
