About the Job / Some of the things you'll do...
As a Verification Engineering Manager, you'll grow your leadership
capabilities to develop an outstanding diverse Verification team.
Come be responsible for supporting New Product Development,
Sustainment and Quality initiatives. You will also work with New
Product Development, Continuous Engineering Support, Operations and
Business Development teams to verify products to their documented
and detailed features and specifications for advanced test and
measurement equipment along with their accessories and software
tools. The role requires a person who is knowledgeable about Test
and Measurement techniques, able to prioritize different projects
and activities, develop and lead a team of engineers, work with
business partners to understand and direct company initiatives and
priorities.

Responsibilities:
Implement verification activities based on project schedule,
budget, and quality
Drive partners to deliver on activities to complete projects on
time
Coordinate product verification between engineering, operations,
and marketing
Coordinate product verification associated with sustainment
activities of existing products
Supports and balance priorities associated with assurance of
supply, new product development, quality, cost reduction etc. to
meet Tektronix business goals
Builds and develops key talent across the verification team
Uses influencing skills within and across the Tektronix
organization. Leverages best practices from lessons learned and
applies these to the team.
Actively pursue continuous improvements throughout the
organization
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field desired.
A minimum of 5+ years of quality assurance testing of high
technology products, which include hardware, firmware and software
in a fully integrated system.
A minimum of 2+ years of experience in leading a professional
workforce.
Proven ability to work in a team-oriented and collaborative
environment
Understanding of hardware and software quality assurance test
processes.
Ability to effectively prioritize and complete tasks in a
high-pressure environment
Proven experience in risk management and mitigation planning
Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing within all
levels of the organization
Preferred Skills:
Understanding of product development
Interacting with teams in various geographies
Working in a continuous improvement environment
Good troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
Experience standing up a new team within an organization
