Job Description:
Maintain and continuously improve the performance and
reliability of test applications for BGA packaged components, RF
modules, and wafer sort test applications. Support the design,
qualification and maintenance of RF and precision Analog test
Systems.
- Continually improve uptime of laser trimmers, package handlers,
mechanical fixtures, and wafer probers with automated test
equipment application software
- Build, Verify and troubleshoot analog and radio frequency (RF)
test systems and devices under test
- Ensure compliance with quality systems by writing documentation
and conducting training of operators and technicians
- Validate test applications meet customer specified
requirements
- Document and Communicate details about test applications
- Analyze Test Results
- Participate in peer reviews and ensure compliance with quality
system requirements for military and aerospace industry
customers
- Optimize in test and factory automation
- Design automated test applications for qualification, and
production testing
- Troubleshoot problems with hardware using test equipment and
system documents such as schematics and layout cad files.
- Maintain software for test and automation
- Sub-system sustainment, including interactions between
electrical, mechanical, and digital sub-systems.Job

- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer
Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Computer Science or
equivalent.Desired Qualifications:
- Proven ability to develop quality control measures such as
poka-yoke, preventative maintenance planning and corrective action
resolution
- Experience with electronics hardware design, manufacturing or
electrical component test or 2 years or more experience writing
softwareRequired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Flexibility Must be able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic
environment; Ability to work both independently and in a team
environment
- Effectiveness Must possess a high level of self-motivation and
initiative; Effectively prioritize and follow through on
assignments and projects
- Troubleshooting/Debug Experience troubleshooting electronic and
mechanical systems
- Communication Excellent communication skills and teamwork;
Possess strong written and oral communication skills
- Schematics Ability to use schematics to conduct fault
isolation
- Tools - experience with Windows Office Suite (including word
processing, spreadsheet software, project planning, presentation,
e-mail and flow charts)Preferred:
- Mastery of RF test methods utilizing various equipment such as
vector network analyzers (VNA), spectrum analyzers, amplifiers,
noise sources, power sensors, power meters, vector and scalar
signal generators.
- RF and optical transmitter, receiver, sampler, and transceiver
test development
- Software Development Experience, preferably for RF testing
- Experience with wafer sort applications using ACCRETECH/TSK,
TEL and Cascade Microtech wafer probers
- Continuous Improvement Experience interacting with engineering
on continuous improvement projects; Experience with analytical
problem-solving skills to solve technical problems
- Schematics Ability to use computer aided software to design
simple circuits using schematic capture software
- Printed circuit board (PCB) layout experience
- Quality Experience in a regulated environment, such as ISO and
AS9100
- SW programming with languages such as Delphi PASCAL, C++, C,
MATLAB, and Python
- Experience with test equipment such as: VNA, Oscilloscopes,
source meters, precision digital multi-meters, power supplies,
power meters, BER Testers, and switching matrixes
- Lean Basic knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles
- ERP/MRP System Understanding of Oracle data base data entry and
analysisPhysical Demands:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is
continually required to stand; walk; balance; crouch, stoop, twist,
kneel, use hands to finger, handle, grasp, or feel objects, tools,
or controls; reach with hands and arms, some overhead push/pull an
average of 50 lbs. The employee is occasionally required to lift
more than 50 lbs.; climb; twist, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl;
and talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job
include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth
perception. Employee will occasionally operate forklift and various
