Job Summary Cowlitz Clean Sweep (CCS) a Pacific Northern
Environmental LLC division, is seeking an CDL A/B Hazmat Driver who
thrives in a fast-paced, team environment and has the ability to
provide exceptional service and skills to our company, clients, and
employees. Pacific Northern Environmental, LLC consists of five
divisions including Advanced Electrical Technologies (AET), Taurus
Power and Controls (Taurus), Cowlitz Clean Sweep (CCS), Pacific
Northern Environmental Construction (PNEC), and WasteXpress
Environmental (WXE). Together, we specialize in commercial and
petroleum construction, industrial and commercial electrical,
industrial cleaning, and hazardous waste disposal. PNE LLC is a
multi-state organization with operating offices in Washington,
Oregon, Idaho, and Hawaii. In addition, we carry out projects
across the United States. CCS provides industrial cleaning and
spill response to almost every pulp and paper mill in the Pacific
Northwest. We also service major oil companies and a wide range of
manufacturing and industrial clients. CCS has demonstrated its
ability to complete large and complex industrial cleaning
challenges on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with the
most stringent industrial health & safety programs. No industrial
cleaning job is too large or too small for CCS. CCS offers call-in
pay and premium for after-hours work. The CDL A/B Hazmat Driver is
responsible for safety transporting hazmat or other materials from
the job sites to safe disposal locations. Hands on work with the
field team is required for this position. Education and Experience
Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. 18 years of age or
older. Valid Drivers License Required. Must possess a valid Class A
or B, Tanker endorsement, and Hazmat endorsement. 2-3 years
experience driving DOT regulated vehicles is required. Experience
driving Hazmat materials strongly preferred Experience working in a
safety sensitive field. Duties and Responsibilities The CDL Hazmat
Driver/Cleaning Technician possessing the education and experience
listed above performs the following: Safely operate and maintain
company vehicles as required for job duties, ensuring compliance
witha ll traffic laws and company policies Operator truck controls
to engage, move, and reposition vacuum hoses as necessary when
operating a vacuum truck. Drives in accordance with all company
safety policies and within all laws, rules, and regulations.
Complete DOT required pre and post trip inspections, completing any
required paperwork as needed. Operate box van carrying drums with a
lift gate in order to pick up and/or deliver drums at a specific
destination. Operate truck in accordance with instructions received
from dispatch or the supervisor each day. Loads, unloads, and sets
up vacuum hoses at job site when operating the vacuum truck. Report
all accidents and injuries and completes an accident report form
when necessary. Ensures all loads are properly secured prior to
driving and maintains safety while driving. Operation of different
work-related equipment, including but not limited to high pressure
pumps, vacuum trucks, different industrial cleaning agents, etc.
Remain up to date on all safety trainings and mill trainings,
mostly completed on an annual basis. Other duties as assigned.
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements The candidate must
possess and be adaptable to the following physical abilities and
working conditions: Move about the jobsite as needed. Move work
related equipment up to 50lbs. Remain in a stationary position for
long periods of time. Operate various technological devices,
including but not limited to a computer. Operate machinery in
compliance with all safety procedures. Occasionally ascend/descend
