WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR We're looking for a Director of Culture, Community and Communication - who can bring dynamic thinking, fresh ideas, and a passion for building phenomenal teams to our Global Brand Creative community. You will be responsible for fueling curiosity and inspiration within our teams, furthering our team's DE&I efforts and driving the learning & development programming for our function. You will help build a culture of belonging within the larger creative team and champion a sense of collaboration and connection across the Global, Geo and City studios. You are highly entrepreneurial, knowledgable in emerging trends and ideas and capable of developing and supervising high-visibility programming and experiences. They are excited to help grow an elite culture that's rooted in creativity, diversity and connection, and a deep connection to sport. They will have experience and an understanding of working at scale and can lead complex workstreams independently. WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON In this role, you will focus on amplifying the vision and energy of the Global Brand Creative organization and deliver on our dedication to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. Partnering with members of the Global Brand Creative leadership team as well as Geo and City partners to own the development of programming and communications that showcase the best of the creative industry as well as our own creative network. You will set and drive ongoing programming of speakers, workshops, tutorials, spotlights, and share-outs that serve both new and existing programs; develop and implement experiences for key GBC moments; and lead regular communications that deliver creative inspiration, industry news, and programming for the entire network. Along with additional culture and community-focused opportunities of your design, these initiatives will define the future of the Global Brand Creative team culture. You will also partner closely with Nike's DE&I teams, defining the priorities and leading and implementing the actions and programs that we need within our function to meet our DE&I commitments as a Creative organization. In any given week, you'll network with industry partners and icons, leading discussions about workplace culture, helping to develop community interactions, connecting with the team, building out a calendar of programming, leading budgets and production logistics, and sharing inspiration and ideas that improve the team culture. WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH This role will report directly to the Sr. Director of Brand Creative Strategy & Planning, and you'll connect regularly with the leadership team. You'll partner with Geo and City creative leaders to showcase creative problem solvers and ideas from around the world. You will collaborate HR partners to define and deliver our DEI commitments and connect and collaborate with key members of Nike's internal learning & development COEs. Beyond the Nike team, you will partner with outside talent, agencies, and vendors to produce relevant programs and events. WHAT YOU BRING

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 8+ years of confirmed ability in brand marketing and/or creative roles preferred.
  • Experience developing, programming, and implementing events, experiences, and partnerships (in collaboration with agencies, talent etc.).
  • A clear understanding of what will enrich a creative culture and community that's built on the power of storytelling.
  • A strong understanding of Nike's existing culture and values.
  • Strong communication skills, preferably with some experience producing written reports, newsletters, or articles for an informed audience.
  • Ability to collaborate with different teams and partners.
