Staff Accountant / Accounting Specialist - Onsite SE Portland

mentorship and team collaboration. As the Staff Accountant /
Accounting Specialist, you'll play a key role in day-to-day and
month-end accounting functions, supporting both the finance team
and broader business operations. Key Responsibilities: Staff
Accountant / Accounting Specialist Prepare and distribute daily and
weekly reports on sales, cash flow, A/P, A/R, and profit margins to
support operational decision-making. Compile and analyze monthly
financial reports, including variance analysis, vendor spending,
and custom ad-hoc reporting. Manage accounts receivable, including
customer invoicing, aging reports, payment applications, and
collections follow-up. Oversee accounts payable by processing
vendor invoices, running weekly payments, and reconciling vendor
statements. Perform daily bank reconciliations, record journal
entries, and complete balance sheet reconciliations as part of the
month-end close. Respond to billing inquiries from customers and
vendors, and assist with inventory counts and reconciliations to
ensure accuracy. Preferred Qualifications: Staff Accountant /
Accounting Specialist Experience with inventory accounting or
working in a product-based or manufacturing environment. Strong
analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to
detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in
a fast-paced environment. Excellent written and verbal
communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional
teams
