Accounting Manager/Controller Location: Clackamas OR Salary: $110,000-$120,000 A growing, family-oriented construction company is looking for a collaborative and experienced Accounting Manager/Controller to lead its team and oversee financial operations. This role offers a blend of strategic oversight and hands-on accounting expertise, alongside strong interpersonal relationships across the organization. Company Perks: Positive workplace with a strong emphasis on family and community Collaborative team that values integrity and connection Opportunity for ongoing growth and professional development Key Responsibilities of Accounting Manager/Controller: Prepare financial statements and provide strategic recommendations based on budget performance Lead budgeting and forecasting in collaboration with project managers and department heads Manage daily accounting operations with accuracy and compliance Perform and oversee month-end close processes, including account reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and financial consolidations Monitor project budgets, costs, and profitability; identify trends and opportunities for improvement Lead and mentor a team of 4 accounting team members Accounting Manager/ Controller Qualifications: Construction accounting experience Experience in a leadership or team management role Positive, collaborative, trustworthy, and able to connect with stakeholders at all levels Timing is everything.
