Job Description:
Tektronix, Inc. (“Tektronix”) is seeking Senior ASIC Design
Engineer in Beaverton, Oregon. Duties: Responsible for designing the electronics behind
next-generation test and measurement systems through the development of custom,
application specific high-speed analog/mixed-signal integrated circuits for
instrument. Specific duties include: architecture, circuit design,
layout, verification, evaluation, system integration; work with a range
of advanced technologies, including SiGe BiCMOS, CMOS, InP, GaAs; design
high- performance ADCs, DACs, amplifiers, and mixers; conduct
feasibility studies of novel architectures that push the state-of-the-art; and
conduct production-level designs through system integration and
deployment. Requirements: Master's degree (or equivalent foreign education)
in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering or related field
plus seven years of experience in analog/mixed-signal integrated circuit
(ADC & DAC) development with at least two years of experience performing
algorithmic design and calibration, or alternatively, a Ph.D. (or equivalent
foreign education) in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or
a related field plus four (4) years of experience in analog/mixed-signal
integrated circuit (ADC & DAC) development with at least two years of
experience performing algorithmic design and calibration. Must have demonstrated proficiency in the following: design of
high-speed transistor-level circuit and device layout; top-down system
design tools such as MATLAB/Simulink; industry-standard EDA tools, such as
Cadence, Agilent ADS, and HFSS to develop microelectronic circuits;
problem solving tools and methodology for debug, such as 4-whys, brainstorming,
structured problem solving and fishbone; application specific integrated
circuits; and design of mathematical algorithms for the calibration of ADC &
DAC or other analog circuits. This is a telecommuting position which can be
